Adjunct Instructor - Mechanical Engineering Technology
This position report to the Chair of Integrated Systems Technology and the Dean of Business, Technology & Public Service.

Appointment Period:

One academic semester

Responsibilities: Responsibilities include teaching classes and conducting labs.

Specific Duties:
  1. Teach one or more of the following courses in Mechanical Engineering Technology that include Manufacturing Processes, Fluid Power, Dynamics, Strength of Materials, Hydraulics, Computer Numerical Programming, AutoCAD, Circuit Analysis, Electronics, Motor Controls, PLC Fundamentals, Digital Circuits, Preventative Maintenance, Blueprint Reading/Schematics, Basic Electricity/Electronics, Safety, Electro Hydraulics/Pneumatics, CAM/CNC Machining, course along with lab.
  2. Instructional times vary and include daytime and evening courses.


Major Work Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred, but associates degree in conjunction with appropriate experience, certification or licensure may be considered. Practical hands on experience and teaching experience a plus.

Salary: Commensurate with academic preparation and experience.
