Qualifications:

Knowledge of office practices and procedures. Working experience using
Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc.) emailing, faxing, scanning, and
writing business letters reflecting standard procedures. Ability to meet and deal politely and effectively with the general public, staff, faculty, and students. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to function within a team environment. One to three years of experience as a secretary in a dental/medical office environment preferred. Experience with computerized patient management systems and electronic dissemination of records preferred. Associate degree in office administration or its equivalent required. Must have an appreciation for and understanding of a two-year college mission; candidate should have demonstrated awareness of diversity issues in higher education and possess skills in cultural competency.
